What tresD DICOM is
A free CBCT and CT viewer, with no sign-up, that works in your browser. CBCTs, scans and photos are processed on your own computer: they are not uploaded to any server. It is a visualisation and teaching tool, not a CE-marked medical device, and its measurements are indicative.
How it improves
Each version takes in users’ ratings and comments and the anonymous error reports the viewer sends when a CBCT does not open. What is new in each version is published on the home page.
What it is built with
It uses open-source engines: Cornerstone3D (MIT licence) to read DICOM, the slices and the render; vtk.js (BSD licence) for 3D and meshes; and MediaPipe (Apache 2.0 licence) for face detection on the photo.
